Hi!

I'm Whitney. Welcome to my little slice of the Internet, where I talk about life in Seattle and our travels beyond it. I have a handsome husbro I may have met outside of a bar, two crazy felines, and two kiddos, too. It’s a lot, so I’m not always spending as much time here as I’d like. Do you like reality TV, sampling all the products, and pickled veggies? Same!

I'm so glad  you're here.

Brand Next Door (Literally): Little Bipsy

Brand Next Door (Literally): Little Bipsy

The owner of Little Bipsy, Brittany, used to work in dentistry. Then she had a baby. She wanted to change her schedule and made a side-hustle into a full-blown bidness.

Brittany is my kind of people. Plus! The LB Brand is the cutest, gender-neutral and social media-savvy kids’ gear I’ve found. It’s well-made and community-driven—Brittany is always asking for feedback on new designs and bringing her customers behind the scenes of what she’s creating, whether it’s a new color of high tops (the inspiration for the brand), thicker fabric for her jogger sets, etc.

Of course, we love LB for its beanies. I swear I’ve had ODP in this sweet olive ribbed version pretty much every other day since I bought it last month.

I also have a particularly special affection for Little Bipsy because it was there that I decided to shop for my friend’s birthday present (a mini and me sweatshirt set from the Basics line) while the farmer’s market was going on right outside. I decided to walk through it and it was INCREDIBLE. The sun was shining and it started to drizzle. I was out during a Saturday nap and texted Raz asking if I should stop by one of the houses nearby that we had saved on Redfin.

Anddd, here we are. Little Bipsy is now woven into the story of our family. I can walk to their retail shop in about 20 minutes to load up on beanies for my babies whenever I please. Throwing a little support behind people doing fabulous creative work and participating in the local community is something that’s always been important to me, so I’m really glad we have such easy access to a great little slice of the world like LB.

Thank you for all you’re making and doing for families around the world, Brittany. Thank you for making Little Bipsy real. And thank you for being one of my most favorite Brands Next Door!

You can shop Little Bipsy online here, and visit them in person the next time you’re in Edmonds.
