Hi!

I'm Whitney. Welcome to my little slice of the Internet, where I talk about life in Seattle and our travels beyond it. I have a handsome husbro I may have met outside of a bar, two crazy felines, and two kiddos, too. It’s a lot, so I’m not always spending as much time here as I’d like. Do you like reality TV, sampling all the products, and pickled veggies? Same!

I'm so glad  you're here.

Go A Little Greener with These Reusable Products

Go A Little Greener with These Reusable Products

Hello. Me again. Today’s theme is greener containers. I wrote this post for Red Tri, and with their #MOMLIFE column on pause, I decided to post it here instead. Just like with my beauty products post, I wrote descriptions for each item included here that are now floating around with Care Bears in the cloud. I’m not going to re-write them, but I’m happy to chat with you about anything—always.

In the spirit of Earth Month, check out some of my recs with the Red Tri text above them. We love our reusable containers and I know you will, too!

Look, I’m not a climate change hero. Not yet, at least. The amount of paper towels my family goes through each day could single-handedly keep Costco in business. Our family-size SUV is not particularly fuel efficient. It’s important for me to note those things because we are far from perfect.

But, I’ve been thinking of small, meaningful ways we can lessen our footprint and I honestly find them easier overall (glass storageware forever!), so I thought they would be worth sharing in case you’re like me and will go electric vehicle eventually, but looking for small changes you can make right now.
